It wasn’t supposed to happen this way. It was just supposed to be a training exercise with minimum casualties. One of us was supposed to hook a hose up to the hydrant and the rest of us were to rescue the residents, but that didn’t happen. One person got seriously injured and it was us. It started out all smooth but then while we were flying up it all went wrong. The flames grew higher than they were supposed to be and somebody's wing-pack malfunctioned and he spiraled out of control. Eventually we completed our mission, but at what cost.
