Okie In the EU
This poor little child. No shoes, barely any clothes, and very very skinny and scrawny. He can taste the sandstorm about to come his way. The feel of compacted, broken up sand on his feet. His thirst was quenched by the sweet and savory cactus juice. Nothing in sight for miles, the hot wind blowing on his steaming face. The sad boy will soon die and no one will remember him.
Oh what a joyous sight. Trees swaying, birds singing chirp, chirp, chirp, water rushing rapidly like a line of horses, the smell of the forest and mint in the air. The mountains looking over their kingdom like a majestic king. Green grass growing everywhere, the sun shining bright. The texture of cool water on your hand, the tree's bark so rough and prickly. The sight of snow after a long cold winter, the lake looking oh so beautiful. This is what a fine spring day looks like.
Antarctic icy snow
Oh so magnificent night
Leaves are glowing green
Get ready cause spring has come
From darkness to light
Our time is coming
To rise up and be free once
Summer has come again
Leaves are falling down
It’s getting colder at last
Fall has come to play
The chips that I have chipped away from my statue laid still on the ground. My statue of a fly row, still unfinished, after weeks and weeks of working on it, finally would be completed tomorrow. Later the next day I finished my piece of (in my eyes) beautiful art. I asked my sister to come and take a look. Ten minutes later she arrived. She said “Oh...I...I love it.” I knew she was just being sweet, so I told her to just say what she really thought about the statue. Her answer was still the same. A big, fat, incomprehensible, horrible lie!
...a four foot tall little twin brother, mask that sent a chill down my spine. I got so mad, that I forgot how sleepy I was. Eventually, my anger took over yelling at the top of my lungs at him, saying “Why did you do that? I was freaked out of my mind!”
He answered calmly “I thought it would be comical and oh boy it was, you should have seen the look on your face!” We never spoke to each other again and neither of us was happy. My brother and I were never the same again and that’s when the connection broke.
“Uh, where are they?” said JP.
Then minutes later Ah came in and said “Sorry, I’m late, I lost track of the time.”
Seconds later Akmal came bursting in, but tried to compose himself and blurted out
“I got here as fast as I possibly could.” After he said that he drew a deep breath, finally he was completely composed.
“So let us begin, first who here thinks that oil is the most profitable source from our magnificent earth?” said JP.
Everybody raised their hands in unison.
“Then let's strike a deal.” That's how the great oil war began.
Last week a group and I read a book called Julie of the Wolves. Here is a book trailer for it.
Today we went on a field trip to a place called pop TV and we got a tour around the building with one of their journalists named Jure. First we were told about how they have many different channels that they broadcast and we stood there for a couple of minutes just talking and asking questions.
Then we were taken downstairs to a place where they choose which channels get what programs. We were then taken to a place where they record voiceovers and their stories. The next place we went to was the room where they broadcast the news and he explained how the cameras work.
Afterwhich we were taken to the main control room where they control the weather and a whole bunch of other stuff. The next place was the sports section of their news reporting area where they are going to report on what is going to happen in the champions legue.
The next area was probably the girls (and jackson’s) favorite part, the makeup room where the reporters came to get their makeup put on because if they didn’t their HD cameras would make them look bad and we don’t want that. That was the last part of the tour and after that we thanked our tour guide and left with new knowledge about the TV we watch.
Sleep. Finally I would be able to sleep and oh what a glorious sleep it would be. As I got in may bed I heard a screeching sound that made my ears hurt, I brushed it off like it was nothing and closed my eyes. Than I heard it again but this time louder, my eyes flashed open in an instant. I looked around my room and saw nothing so I just thought I heard it because I was sleepy. I thought to myself “If I hear that noise one more time I’ll know for sure that it is real”. The door opened and there it was...
