Today we went on a field trip to a place called pop TV and we got a tour around the building with one of their journalists named Jure. First we were told about how they have many different channels that they broadcast and we stood there for a couple of minutes just talking and asking questions.
Then we were taken downstairs to a place where they choose which channels get what programs. We were then taken to a place where they record voiceovers and their stories. The next place we went to was the room where they broadcast the news and he explained how the cameras work.
Afterwhich we were taken to the main control room where they control the weather and a whole bunch of other stuff. The next place was the sports section of their news reporting area where they are going to report on what is going to happen in the champions legue.
The next area was probably the girls (and jackson’s) favorite part, the makeup room where the reporters came to get their makeup put on because if they didn’t their HD cameras would make them look bad and we don’t want that. That was the last part of the tour and after that we thanked our tour guide and left with new knowledge about the TV we watch.
