The chips that I have chipped away from my statue laid still on the ground. My statue of a fly row, still unfinished, after weeks and weeks of working on it, finally would be completed tomorrow. Later the next day I finished my piece of (in my eyes) beautiful art. I asked my sister to come and take a look. Ten minutes later she arrived. She said “Oh...I...I love it.” I knew she was just being sweet, so I told her to just say what she really thought about the statue. Her answer was still the same. A big, fat, incomprehensible, horrible lie!
...a four foot tall little twin brother, mask that sent a chill down my spine. I got so mad, that I forgot how sleepy I was. Eventually, my anger took over yelling at the top of my lungs at him, saying “Why did you do that? I was freaked out of my mind!”
He answered calmly “I thought it would be comical and oh boy it was, you should have seen the look on your face!” We never spoke to each other again and neither of us was happy. My brother and I were never the same again and that’s when the connection broke. “Uh, where are they?” said JP.
Then minutes later Ah came in and said “Sorry, I’m late, I lost track of the time.” Seconds later Akmal came bursting in, but tried to compose himself and blurted out “I got here as fast as I possibly could.” After he said that he drew a deep breath, finally he was completely composed. “So let us begin, first who here thinks that oil is the most profitable source from our magnificent earth?” said JP. Everybody raised their hands in unison. “Then let's strike a deal.” That's how the great oil war began. |
